Trip to Croke Park - Piaras O'Se from Ballygriffey, Ruan recently won a trip to Croke Park for 40 children and 10 parents from his local underage Club, sponsored by Centra, and last Mon. was 'The Big Day'. They set off from Barry Lynch's Centra, accompanied by Mary & Catherine, two employees of Centra, armed with their helmets, hurleys, boots and a healthy goodie bag each. They were met by their guide, Morgan, who looked after them for the day. They met county and inter-county hurlers, including Patrick Donnellan, Conor Lehane & Henry Shefflin and took part in a training session with them. They had lunch in Croke Park, played games & did souvenir shopping and returned Mon. eve tired but thrilled with the day’s outing.

Camogie Blitz - on Sunday last three teams of underage camogie players from The Burren Club played Ruan in a Blitz.
It was the 'end of season' event hosted by Ruan, for both clubs and enjoyed the games and the refreshments laid on by the parents. Thanks to who helped out in the day.
