Baptism Preparation Course: For anybody wanting their child baptized will be required to undergo the Baptism Preparation Course.  1st Preparation Course, next Sunday, 4th Dec in Community Centre, Ruan, 11am – 12 noon.  This course will be held monthly

Hymn Books: Jill Clarke who was always part of our Choir in Ruan has donated a  New Hymn Book to Ruan Church so that all will be able to sing at mass.  Thank you very much Jill.

Diocesan Gathering of Lay Representitatives for each parish across the Diocese this weekend.   This Sunday we begin our Diocesan Process of Reflection of Listening & Conservation together about the issues and challenges we face as a church and a society.

(A) Response to Faith with the Bible: led by Fr Martin McNamara, MSC, continues in Scoil Mhuire, Ennistymon from 7-9pm, on Monday night Nov. 28th, Discussion on (A) The Bible as Guide in Life & Liturgy (Readings for 2nd Sunday of Advent) and (B) The Bible in Dialogue with Questions of the Day.(Living in Patience and Perserverance with the living God).

The Rural Resource Organisation: held its AGM last week: Officers elected for the coming year were: Johnny O’Donoghue Chairman. Fr Pat O’Neill Vice Chairman, Risteard Ui Croinin Secretary, Noel Tierney & Johnny O’Donoghue Treasurers, John Bell PRO. The Chairman thanked Morty Kelly, who retired during the year from his post as Supervisor and he welcomed the incoming Supervisor, Senan Coughlan and wished him well in the post.
