PARISH COUNCIL MEETING on Monday night 19th November in the Parochial House at 8.00 pm.

EXPOSITION OF THE BLESSED SACRAMENT:  Every Wednesday in Ruan Church from 3 pm to 7 pm.  All are welcome, you can stay for as long or as little as you like.

THE MESSENGER:  Anyone interested in receiving the Messenger Magazine can contact Mary O’Donnell who will order it.  The annual subscription, which is now due, is €16.60.

SENIOR CITIZENS:  The Annual Christmas Party will take place on Sunday 2nd December at 2.00 pm in Morty Kellys.  All Senior Citizens welcome.

RUAN SET DANCING Set Dancing continues every Tuesday night at 9.00 pm in the Community Centre.  Anyone interested would be very welcome.

TIDY TOWNS meeting this Tuesday night 20th Nov. at 9 pm in Morty Kelly’s bar. This is to discuss our results in competitions during 2012 and to plan our actions and projects that both are ongoing and at the idea stage. All welcome to attend and new ideas welcomed.

CRAFT CLASSES: Knitting, crochet and embroidery classes continue in Toonagh Hall on Wed. nights, 7.30 am.   Those experienced in the crafts pass on their knowledge to learners.  €5 per night, towards upkeep of the Hall.

KITCHEN SESSIONS: Music, singing and dancing continue in Toonagh Hall Fri. nights, 7 to 9 p.m.  All welcome.

 A "BUMS AND TUMS" FITNESS CLASS will begin in Toonagh Hall on Tue. morning next, 20th Nov. at 9.30 am. and will run for 4 weeks.  €6 per class.  Further information from Aisling 0861928258.

COROFIN DRAMATIC SOCIETY and special guests Mews Productions Shannon present 3 one acts plays in Kilnaboy hall on Nov 23rd and 24th at 8 45 pm, please support.

CLOTHES COLLECTION: Toonagh School Parents Association wishes to thank all those who handed in clothes, etc. in its recent fundraiser.  €455 was made in the effort, and it is hoped to hold another such venture after Easter.

WINTER WALKING CLUB:  Starting Monday evening 19th November. Get fresh air, meet new friends, all levels of fitness welcome.  Meeting at entrance to Dromore Woods every Monday, Wednesday and Friday evenings at 8:15 pm.  All welcome.  Please bring a torch!

BINGO - your lucky numbers. Ruan Camogie Club have arranged fund raising night on Friday 7th December 2012 at Purcells Bar with a start time of 9 pm.  Please support and bring your family along, the Club appreciates your continued support.. RUAN U 11s took part in the Andrew O'hEithir memorial in Dublin on Saturday, playing against teams from Cork, Tyrone & Dublin. They performed very well and enjoyed the experience  Ruan Mentors presented them with a special plaque to mark the occasion. Thanks to Ruan Senior Club for helping to fund the cost of bus and to the mentors of the under 11s for organising a great trip for our young hurlers.   Susan Rice

2. Ruan Hurling Club would like to sincerely thank the people of the Parish for their most generous response to our church gate collection, it realised €1715.
