Toonagh Hall & Sports Complex.
At a recent meeting held in Toonagh Hall it was agreed that the Hall & Sports Complex be closed to the public until such time  as a complete management committee has been formed, therefore, an E.G.M. (extraordinary general meeting) will be held on next Sun. 21st Sept at 6 o'clock in the Hall. This E.G.M. had been called to discuss a number of serious issues still outstanding from the ongoing works at the Centre.
It has been decided that a management committee needs to be formed, and this requires the input of the local community and cannot wait until the A.G.M.
It is crucial that individuals, groups and organisations wishing to use the facilities must attend, or send a representative, as the Hall & Sports Complex cannot open until the committee is formed, and this will be a big inconvenience to the local schoolchildren and the community at large. Clare Stages Rally 2014.
Roads in some areas of Dysart will be closed for a time on Sun. next, 21st Sept., from 8.20a.m. to 5.20p.m.  This is to facilitate the 2014 Clare Stages Rally.  The areas affected are Caherbannagh/Magowna/Soheen/Ahaun Bridge/Killeenan/Mollaneen/Dysart/Poulbawn, going into Corofin.   People are asked to be aware and alert on the roads in the vicinity, as there will be extra traffic on all roads, due to crowds following the Rally.

Flu Season.
Many from the parish use Corofin Medical Centre and the flu and pneumonia vaccines are now available at the Centre.
Walk in clinic Monday, Tuesday and Friday 2-3p.m., and at other times by appointment.  House visits, if required, can be arranged on request.

Coffee Morning for Cahercalla.
Please note that the annual coffee morning in aid of Cahercalla Hospice will not be held in Toonagh Hall on this Thursday.
It has been postponed until the hall is reopened.
