Well done to Ronan Corey, representing the County, who reached the semi final of his swimming event in Athlone at the weekend.

Tidy Towns.
The response to the old clothes collection held in Spring by the Tidy Towns Committee was a great success, with €700 raised.  It is now holding a further collection, with Ruan Community Centre open from 8.30am to 3.00p.m. Mon to Fri, and Toonagh Hall open on Mondays from 9am to 12 noon.  Bags of old, worn clothing, footwear, bed linen and old or broken mobile phones may be dropped in, clothing may be worn or torn, but must be clean.   The continued support of the community is greatly appreciated and will continue to help fund projects in the parish.
