Toonagh School Clothes Collection.
There was a huge response to the recent clothes collection for Toonagh School, and the Parent's Association greatly appreciate the support of all who donated bags and helped out collecting bags. €1,000 was raised and this will be used to provide I.T. supplies for classrooms in the school.

U-13 Final.
Ruan u-13 hurling got a great boost on Saturday last when they won the u-13'C' competition, beating Broadford.  In the dying seconds of the game Ruan scored a point which levelled the scores and extra time was played, during which time the Ruan boys really came alive, with the final score reading 5.15 to 4.11. Great credit to both teams for serving up such an exciting game, and also to the Ruan management of Paul Howard, Geraldine Cahir, Cyril Lyons and Dermot Moran, and to the parents who, week in week out, take the boys to training and games.
On the way to the final, Ruan played Broadford, Whitegate, Ennistymon and had a walkover over Cratloe.
Captain, Jack Lyons was presented with the Cup by Tony Brohan of the Minor Co. Board and afterwards the boys were taken to The Grove for a meal to celebrate their win.
