Christmas Sale of Work

A Christmas sale of work will be held in Ruan on Sunday 7th December after 10 a.m. Mass to raise much needed funds for the Tidy Towns and graveyards maintenance.  On sale will be timber/turf/cakes/Christmas flower arrangements & decorations/2nd hand designer clothes/books/bric a brac, face painting for the children – something for everybody.  

Donations are needed of all of these items.

On the Catwalk for Camogie.

Niamh Lawton, Eimear Neilan, Sandra O'Halloran and Louise McDonnell from Ruan Camogie Club will join models from other camogie clubs in Clare to  take to the Catwalk at Treacy's West County Hotel on this Sat. 22nd Nov., at 7.30p.m. to raise funds for Clare Camogie development of "Fr. McNamara Camogie Park".  

They will showcase style available in shops in The Banner County and they would welcome support.

Recent Death.

The death has taken place of Maureen Hume (nee Hayes), wife of the late George, of Pine Grove, Ennis and formerly of Cappinakella, Dysart.  Removal took place from Kennedy's Funeral Home to St. Tola's Church, Dysart, and following requiem Mass, she was laid to rest in Dysart Graveyard.   

She is survived by her daughters Valerie and Mary, stepson, Norman,  brothers, Morty and Gerry, nephews, extended family and friends.
