Alzheimers Tea Day.
Although the Alzheimer's Tea Day is on May 9th, this year it was held in Ruan Community Centre on Wed. May 8th.   
It will also be held in Toonagh Hall on Thurs. next, 16th May, from 9.30a.m. to 12.30p.m., when the support of the local community will be welcomed to partake of home baking, tea and coffee, with the proceeds from both Tea Days in the parish going to the Clare branch of Alzheimer's Association.
Crowning of Our Lady's Statue.
The Crowning of Our Lady's Statue at the Grotto in Fountain will be held on Wed. next, 15th May, at 8.30p.m. The Rosary will be recited and hymns sung in honour of Our Lady.  The Rosary is recited every evening, for the month of May, at the Grotto at 8.30p.m.  
 It is also recited in Ruan Church every evening for the month, at 7.00p.m.
Kitchen Sessions.
Last Friday night in Toonagh Hall saw the very popular Kitchen Sessions come to a close for the summer.  For the last two Friday nights, Kevin Keane attended the Sessions, teaching the Caledonian Set, which was very much enjoyed by all who attended.   
The Ennis Singers Club which meets in Cois na hAbhna this Fri. night, 10th May, at 9.00p.m., will feature Den.
