Recent Wedding.
Jordan Purtill and Tara Hogan from Ennis were married recently in St. Tola's Church, Dysart.  Jordan is son of Mary and P.J., and Tara is daughter of Marian and the late Tim.  Celebrant was Fr. Pat O'Neill. 
Hazel Hogan, Christine Lynch, Nicola McNamara and Jade Purtill were Bridesmaids and Bestmen were Patrick Sheehan, Darren Purtill and Kenneth Hogan.   Shauna Purtill was flowergirl.  
The couple's reception was held in the Auburn Lodge Hotel, Ennis.
Community Games.
The local Community Games group has put in a lot of work over the years in encouraging children from the parish to take part in community games, and, indeed, have had children taking part in the National Finals many times in swimming, athletics and art.   
They recently collected €240 in a Church Gate collection and are grateful to the community for its support.
Fleadh Cheoil.
Local children Lisa Whelan and Jamie Cantillon are members of the Inis Og u12 Band which came 2nd in Killarney at the Munster Finals at the weekend.  Eimear and Holly O'Loughlin are through with their Crusheen group and Shona O'Halloran from Dysart came 1st in concertina, so all concerned will have their next outing in Sligo when they will represent their county at the All Ireland Fleadh Cheoil in August.
Recent Death.
The death has taken place recently of Mrs. Margaret Bluett of Kilbrin, Co. Cork, mother of Jimmy Bluett of Cloona, Dysart.
