Annual Toonagh Walk.
The Toonagh Walk in aid of Seeking Vision Clare Sunset Foundation is on this Sunday, 15th January at 12.30pm with registration taking place in the hall from 11.30am. There are three routes 2k, 5k and 10.5k, starting and finishing in the hall, to suit all levels of fitness. Children are welcome as the routes are on quiet, scenic country roads. Refreshments will be served afterwards.
This is always a great event supported both inside & outside the parish and it is hoped this will be the case also this year. Further details from Breda @0851947763.

Nollaig na mBan.
Although the crowd was smaller than it has been in past years, the annual mass in Toonagh Hall for the Feast of the Epiphany brought together neighbours and friends to the hall on Thursday night last to bring an end to Christmas celebrations for another year in the community.

Toonagh Handball Club AGM
The Annual General Meeting for Toonagh Handball Club will be held on Monday 16th of January at 8.30pm in Toonagh Hall. Anyone interested in playing or taking up handball for the first time is more than welcome to come and find out more about the game.  Those who play hurling or Camogie can also benefit from playing handball, enhancing the skills used in both codes.
Currently the club only caters for adults but it is hoped to have a juvenile club up and running by the end of 2017.
