Ruan Minor Club held a very successful Foundation Course last weekend.   It was well attended by parents, camogie players and minor hurlers.  Francis O'Halloran and Sean Chaplin of Clare G.A.A. ran the course.  The Club had a very successful year in 2012, winning an u14 double final and contesting the U16A final.
Dates for the Diary for next year - Minor Club A.G.M. will be held 14th Jan in Ruan Community Centre.
Underage medal presentation night will be held on Jan 28th next.
The Club wishes all players, parents and supporters a very happy Christmas and a healthy and prosperous New year.

Walk for Simon Community.
Breda McCullough has organised the now "annual" Toonagh Walk which will be held on Sun. 20th Jan, 2013.  The Charity benefitting from this walk is Ennis Simon Community, which provides services in Clare from their centre in their Charity Shop in Woodquay.   People who are homeless, or at risk of homelesness,  can get information  and advice on accommodation issues and support.  Recently the organisation in Ennis has agreed to purchase an apartment which will become home, offering security and comfort to a small family in the very near future.
Further info. from Breda at 0851947763 or 0656837380.

The cards will be removed on Christmas Eve and will form part of the Offertory Procession at the Vigil Mass, and the people will be remembered at all Masses over the Christmas Season.
