Community Games Quiz.
Well done to the Quiz team from the parish who came 5th in the u14 Community Games Quiz on Friday last in St. Flannan's College.  It was the first time they competed in a Quiz and they did very well.   The team  was made up of Cliodhna Hynes, Jessica Healy, Roisin O'Loughlin, Nathan Bluett, Mark Corry and Kieran Barry, all pupils of Toonagh N.S.
Community Games Swimming.
Children who wish to take part in the swimming competitions in Community Games should note they will be held in Ennis Leisure Complex on 
Thurs. 14th April next, at 4.30p.m.
 Ruan/Dysart Fine Gael.
The first meeting of Ruan/Dysart branch of Fine Gael was held in Ruan Community Centre last week.   There was a good attendance, and a lively discussion on a number of topics.   Congratulations were extended to Pat Breen and Joe Carey, on their re-election to Dail Eireann.   
Neither could attend the meeting as the Dail was in session.
Councillors Joe Arkins and Tony Mulqueen addressed the members on the forthcoming Senate elections, in which Shannon Fine Gael Councillors, Tony Mulcahy and John Crowe and Ennistymon Councillor,  Martin Conway, are candidates.
Plans for social events later in the year were discussed and branch officers for the coming year were elected.
 All Ireland Indoor Championships
Congratulations to Suzanne Kelly from Dromina, Dysart, who won a Bronze medal in the All Ireland Indoor Championships which were held in Nenagh last week.   She took part in the Long Jump, and is a member of Kilnaboy Athletic Club.
"I Do Not Like Thee Dr. Fell".
The Parish Dramatic Society is delighted to bring its production of Bernard Farrell's comedy, I Do Not Like Thee Dr. Fell, to Ruan Community Centre on Friday 15th and Saturday 16th April.   Curtains up at 8.30p.m., and the cast looks forward to the support of the community.
