Crowning of Our Lady's Statue at the Fountain Grotto will take place on Fri. 16th May next at 8.30, when the Rosary will be recited and hymns to Our Lady sung.   The Rosary is recited each evening at 8.30 pm at the Grotto for the month of May.

Killaloe Diocesan Youth Council in conjunction with Ennis Gospel Choir are inviting all exam students, their families and friends to a special exam mass on Sunday 25th May at 7pm  in The Church of Our Lady, (Fahy Hall) Roslevan. We extend a warm welcome to students from all over our diocese. The Diocesan Youth Council will launch their specially commissioned book marks on the night.

Irish Kidney Association Invitation:   The Clare Branch of the Irish Kidney Association invites you, our Donor Families and transplant recipients to their Annual Mass of Remembrance & Thanksgiving, on Sunday 18th May at 12 noon in the Cathedral Ennis. The Mass will be celebrated in honour of those whose organs were donated thus giving the Gift of New Life to so many.

Mass and Anointing for people with disabilities and chronic illnesses will take place in Cathedral Ennis on Thursday, 15th May at 2pm.  Bishop Kieran O'Reilly will be the chief celebrant. All welcome.


Ruan Camogie News: 

Ruan Junior Camogie Team had a solid victory over Wolfe Tones on Monday last. 3.15 to 4 pts. Great performances and scores from Louise McDonnell, Lauren O Donoghue, Lorna Crowe and Alice Mahony. Our talented U14 team beat Wolfe Tones and are now in the semi-final next Wed. Details TBC. That makes 5 wins in a row! Congratulations to all the girls and mentors. Please support this team as pursue silverware for the rest of the league. The club would like to wish girls taking school/college exams, the very best of luck also.

Under 14: Ruan/Corofin Under U14 A side had a good win over Clonlara last weekend 2-13 to 4-4. The Ruan Under U14 C team had a bye. Upcoming fixtures, Under 14 A: Ruan/Corofin v Kilmaley this Monday at 7.00 in Corofin and this Friday May 16 v Sixmilebridge away. Under 14 C: Ruan v O'Callaghans Mills this Sunday May 10 in Ruan at 6.30. 

Playing for Clare: Congratulations to Liam O'Donovan who played well for Clare in their recent win over Tipperary in the Munster Minor Hurling Championship. Commiserations to Conall O'hAiniféin who was injured and unable to take his place for the Clare Minor Footballers in their loss to Waterford
