Successful Fundraiser.  Two student teachers, Louise McDonnell from Dysart and Claire Kearney from Corofin, recently held a fundraising walk in Dromore Woods, raising €740. They represented Mary Immaculate College in Limerick in a nationwide colleges fundraising effort, entitled “Walk for Jailbreak”, Ireland’s largest student run charity, which raised €56,000 to be split equally between Amnesty International and the Society of St. Vincent de Paul.
Well done to all involved.
