Killaloe Diocese Safeguarding Service: - Guidelines regarding Photographers Where a group of parents hire a
photographer or a person taking a video, it is their responsibility to ensure
that the photographer has Gárda vetting, it is advisable that they should
obtain permission from the parents/guardians of all the other children. This
should not be seen as an obligation on the Priest to monitor or verify. Thought for the Week: 'Nature teaches us that nothing lasts forever and nothing ever continues as it began. This gives us the courage to seek solutions in our difficulties, the courage to get through any hard time, because we know that no matter how hard it may seem at any given moment, it will go away'. (Sr. Stan
Kennedy)
Trócaire Lenten Campaign: Trócaire Packs are available at the back of the Churches “Let the little children come to me, and do not stop them; for it is to such as these that the kingdom of God belongs.” Luke 18:16. Mahlet (13) is the little girl from Ethiopia who appears on this year’s Trócaire Box. Mahlet represents the many children in the developing world who are suffering because their families can’t grow enough food to feed them. Find out how to help at trocaire.org/lent
