"The Highest House on the Mountain"
John B. Keane's play, "The Highest House on the Mountain" will be staged by Ruan Dramatic Society on Good Friday and Easter Sunday evenings in Ruan Community Centre, with curtains up at 8.30p.m. 
There is a mix of experienced and new talent taking part in the play, and Gerry Heagney has taken on the mantle of Director.   
The group has been rehearsing for many weeks, and it is looking forward to the support of the community at the performances.
Community Games Swimming.
Eoin McNamara won Gold and Ronan Corey won Silver at the Clare Community Games, Swimming, competitions held in Ennis Leisure Centre recently.   Eoin now goes to Athlone in May to represent the County.   Well done to all the children from the parish who competed.
Shave or Dye.
A great night's entertainment is assured when "Ruan Shave or Dye" takes place in Purcell's Bar, Ruan on Easter Sunday evening at 7.00p.m. in aid of Cancer Research.  There will be music, finger food and spot prizes, and many "brave" heads have been offered up for this great cause!
Easter Ceremonies.
Mass of the Eucharist will be celebrated in Ruan Church at 8.00p.m. on Thursday evening, Good Friday Ceremonies in Dysart at 3.00p.m. 
and Ruan at 8.00p.m., Easter Vigil Mass in Dysart at 7.00p.m. and Ruan at 9.00p.m., 
Dawn Mass will be held in Dysart Graveyard at 7.00a.m. on Easter Sunday Morning and Mass will be held in both churches on 
Easter Sunday morning at the usual times of Dysart 9.45a.m. and Ruan 11.15a.m.
