Friends of Toonagh Concert.
All roads lead to Toonagh Hall on this Saturday, March 24, for a concert featuring traditional music, singing, step-dancing and set dancing.  The concert starts at 8pm and monies raised will be split between the purchase of a defibrillator for the area and the Heart and Lung Appeal at the Mater Hospital.
Among those featuring on the night are the Toonagh Kitchen Session Group, the Whelan Family, Toonagh; Colm Nestor with the winners of Munster Ceol an Gheimhridh; Gliondar, a teenage trad group with our own Tierna Casey;  Geraldine Carrig, renowned  singer and harpist;  Ellen Custy, Liam Jones, Brian Morgan, Nuala Hehir and Kevin Finucane;  Frank Custy and friends.
There has been a great response for prizes and a big raffle will be held on the night. Anyone who may not make the concert and would like to contribute may contact Anne Marie Jones 0879827086 or Rose Foudy 0870610212.

Tractor Run
The annual Tractor Run Fundraiser for Ruan Tidy Towns and Graveyards maintenance will be held on Easter Sunday April 1. Registration will be at Morty Kelly's bar from 11.15 am.  Senior Run will commence at 12.15pm with kiddies run at 12 mid-day. The support of the community will be much appreciated.

Pamela on Winning Streak.
The Craft Group which meets in Toonagh Hall was buzzing with excitement on Wednesday last when Pamela Vaughan shared all her news from her appearance on Winning Streak, the show in which she won €43,000 on last Saturday week. Members of the group had knit and crochet a Banner with her name and Denise and Rita, two members, held it up during the show.  It was the first time such a banner appeared on Winning Streak and Marty and Sinead, the hosts, praised it highly.
Pamela had a memorable day with her family and friends and all who know her were delighted at her good fortune.
