†           We pray for the repose of the soul of Patricia Hanrahan, Dublin and formerly of Drumcavan, Funeral Mas and burial took place in Ruan on Saturday 4th June.  May she rest in peace.


Weekday Masses:         Ruan:      Monday and Saturday at 9:30 am. 

                                              Dysart:     Thursday and Friday at 9:30 am

Please Note:   When there is a Funeral Mass in the parish, there will not be any 9:30 am  Mass in either Ruan or Dysart.


Exam Mass: The Mass on Monday morning, 6th June, will be for all those doing exams – Exam Mass Cards are available in both Churches

Eucharistic Adoration:       Ruan:   Wednesdays - Hourly from 3pm to 7pm

                                                        Dysart:  Thursdays - Hourly from 10am to 1pm

Next Baptism Course: Tubber on Saturday 11th June from 11:00 am to 12 Noon. 

All people intending to have children baptised must complete the baptismal course before each child is baptised.


Recent Baptisms: We welcome into our Community Tara Brid Cusack, daughter of Barry and Siobhan and Abbie Margaret Flanagan, daughter of David and Eimear who were baptised recently.


Imeall Bóirne Pilgrimage to Croagh Patrick will take place on Saturday 23rd July. Bus leaving Corofin at 8:00 am.  Contact Fr Damian at 086-8396636 to book a place.

Toonagh School Book Sale Thursday 9th June: Toonagh Hall will be open on Wednesday 8th June from 8-9 pm when members of the Parents Association of Toonagh School will be on hand to receive donations of books for children and adults for their book sale from 9am to 3pm and 6.30 to 8pm on Thursday 9th. Funds raised go towards school supplies.


Diamond Jubilee: There will be a Mass to celebrate the Diamond Jubilee of Fr Pat Carmody (Ruan 1961-1972) on Friday 10th June at 7pm in St Senan’s Church, Cooraclare. All welcome to attend


Senior Citizens Lahinch summer holiday: The dates this year for the Lahinch summer holiday for Ruan/Dysart senior citizens are 27th July to 1st August.  Names can be given to Mary O’Donnell on 6837989 or Sheila Lynch on 6837717


Tidy Towns: Summer is here again and with it comes the annual judging of the Tidy Towns.  Please put out window boxes as early as possible and we would ask for the support of the community in our on-going efforts to enhance our village and keep it clean and tidy.  Be proud of your village!


Volunteers Wanted:  If you like books and can give 4 hours per week, we would be delighted to have you at Bookstop, 8 Parnell Street Ennis, supporting Sláinte an Chláir and Hospice Uganda. Please call to shop for application form or phone 085 2405122.


Lourdes Diocesan Pilgrimage:  Lourdes has been designated as one of the International Jubilee sites for this Year of Mercy.  The Diocesan Pilgrimage takes place from 26th June returning on 1st July. Extra capacity has been provided in the flights from Shannon Airport.

Annual Killaloe Diocesan Pilgrimage to Knock Shrine will take place on Sunday 3rd July 2016, sharing with Ferns as we have in previous years.
