Baptism Preparation Course:  Next Baptism Preparation Course will be in Ruan on Saturday 23rd June from 11:00am-12:00 noon.

Eucharistic Congress Final Mass:  This will be in Croke Park today and will be on television.

The Kitchen Sessions:  come to an end for the summer on June 22nd, with a Variety Concert in Toonagh Hall.  This will feature the musicians, singers and dancers who enjoy the sessions on Friday nights.  Monies raised on the night will go towards buying a printer for Toonagh School – so mark the date! Friday 22nd June in Toonagh Hall 7:00pm to 9:00pm, spot prizes and a good night’s entertainment is guaranteed.  Admission €7 per adult/children free.

Camogie News:  Under 13C Shield Semi Final Ruan vs Corofin 18th June 2012 at 8:00pm in Ruan Pitch.  Support welcome.  North Munster League:  Junior Team have played the following games 1st June defeated by Eire Og, Ennis.  On 8th June well deserved win against Sixmilebridge 2-1 and Ruan 3-8.  On 15th June, Tulla will meet the team game on Ruan pitch.  On Friday 22nd June, Ruan will travel to Tipperary and play against Eire Og of Nenagh.  Best of luck to the girls and your support welcome.

Clare Gets Active Day – July 1st 2012:  Clare  Sports Partnership in conjunction with Clare County Council is looking for the support of every town, village, and community in County Clare to make the first ever “ Clare gets Active Day” on the 1st July 2012 a real success.  Every town and community in Clare is invited and encouraged to take part in organising a local walk, run, cycle, visit to the playground, blitz etc.  Clare Sports Partnership and Clare County Council are looking for expressions of interest from local groups or local clubs who may be interested in supporting this event locally.   The closing date for receipt of expression of interest is June 8th 2012 and further information is available from the Clare Sports Partnership on 065 6865434 or email student@claresportspartneship.ie

CongratulationsOur Intermediate hurlers have gained promotion to Division 1B of the Clare Cup for next year.  They have also qualified for this years Division 2 Final.  Meanwhile preparations are continuing for the 1st round of the year’s Intermediate Championship against Bodyke in Shannon next Saturday 23rd June.   Again congratulations to all players & mentors for their success so far this year.   Support will be appreciated in Shannon next Saturday.
