Day Trip to Bloom. On Friday last a number of garden enthusiasts visited the Bloom Festival in Phoenix Park organised by the Toonagh Craft Group. All who travelled were delighted with the trip, some coming home with bulbs and flowers to brighten up their own gardens.

Student of the Year. Padraig Casey, Drumeer, Ruan was selected as “Student of the Year” at the recent St. Flannans’ graduation awards, for his involvement of various school activities, from being PRO on the young SVP conference, and receiving a papal cross as part of the John Paul II awards. Fr. Ignatius presented Padraig with his award. Well done Padraig!

Clothes Collection. The Parents Association of Toonagh School had a very successful fundraiser recently with over €600 raised for the schoolchildren’s activities
