The Nihell Chalice 1713:  This Silver Chalice was gifted to Ruan Parish and it was given on loan to the County Museum.  I went to the Museum to recover the Chalice to be told that,  it was returned to Fr Tom Burke in Carrigoran.   Neither Carrigoran House or Fr Burke’s family know the whereabouts of the Chalice.  Have you any idea where it might  be?

Baptism Preparation Course:  Next Baptism Preparation Course will take place on Saturday 21^st July from 11:00am-12:00 noon in the Hall at the back of the Sacristy in Crusheen Church.

Ruan Community Games Church Gate Collection - €475.00.  Many thanks to all who contributed so generously.

Holy Land Pilgrimage Cancelled:  The Diocesan Pilgrimage to the Holy Land in November has been postponed.  This decision was made during the week following advice that the Diocese received with regard to the political situation in the Middle East at this time.  All who have booked will be contacted individually during the coming days and a full refund will be made.  It is hoped to have the Pilgrimage in the coming years when the situation improves.

Killaloe Diocese Autumn Pilgrimage to Lourdes:  The Autumn pilgrimage leaves from Shannon on Tuesday 2^nd October returning on Sunday 7^th October.  Cost €650.  For details contact Fr Tom Ryan, 061 364133.
