Next Baptism Course: Tubber on Saturday 13th February from 11:00 am to 12 Noon. 

All people intending to have children baptised must complete the baptismal course before each child is baptised.


Fitness 4 Fun with John Conroy for both men and women, resumes in Ruan Community Centre on next Wednesday 20th January from 1:15pm to 2:15pm. Cost €5. John who is the founder of Fitness4Fun is an experienced and qualified fitness coach for older adult fitness. Exercise can reduce the risk of developing some age-related diseases and disabilities. People with arthritis, heart disease or diabetes benefit from regular physical activity and exercise can also help people with blood pressure, balance problems or difficulty walking. All are welcome to come.


Tea/Coffee Morning continues every Tuesday Morning in Ruan Community Centre at 10:00 am. All are welcome.

Migrant and Refugee Sunday – 17th January 2016:   Migrants and Refugees Challenge Us.  The Response of the Gospel of Mercy” is the theme chosen by Pope Francis for Migrant and Refugee Sunday.  On this day we are asked to remember in our prayers, those who have left our shores and those who have joined us here in our parishes from overseas.


Justice and Peace:  Lets pray for the people in Syria who are starving and suffering in our world.  We are all brothers and sisters.


Readers and Eucharistic Ministers:  We would welcome and encourage more people, both young and older, to have an active part in the celebration of the Eucharist as readers or Eucharist Ministers. New lists of  Readers and Eucharistic Ministers for 2016 are being compiled and if you would like to be added to the list please give your name to either Mary O’Donnell 087 9776583 or Rosemary Foudy 0870610212 or to Fr Pat O’Neill - 086 2612124.


Mass Card Donations:  All Money received for Mass Card Donations is divided between the Foreign Missions and Faith Development in the Parish. Please use the Mass Donation envelope provided and place it in the collection basket.


Vocation to Diocesan Priesthood A Vocations Workshop is being organised for the Munster Dioceses inviting any person interested in being a diocesan priest to experience a time of reflection and discernment.  The workshop is on February 5th-6th 2016 in Thurles and further details available from Fr.
