Thought for the week
Life is a book in volumes three -
The past, the present and the yet-to-be.
The past is written and laid away,
The present we're writing every day,
And the last, and best of volumes three
Is locked from sight -
God keeps the key.

Mass Card Donations: All Money received for Mass Card Donations is divided between the Foreign Missions and Faith Development in the Parish.

The Justice and Peace Group are anxious to promote care of elderly people who may be living alone during the entire year, but in particular at this time. If you know of any elderly neighbour or person living in your area who may be alone or in need of some assistance during these times, we would urge you to drop in for a chat or a quick visit. The smallest of things can mean the world to someone, so, we would encourage those of us who are able to keep an eye to our elderly neighbours and friends.

Third Age - Senior Help Line: ‘Do you need someone to talk to? Senior Help Line is a confidential listening service for older people provided by trained older volunteers for the price of a local call anywhere in Ireland, LoCall 1850 440 444. Senior Help Line is open every day of the year, from 10 am to 10 pm. Older people call because they feel lonely and want some company in their day. Callers have financial, family and health concerns. A small number are experiencing elder abuse. Some feel depressed and need support to carry on. Senior Help Line‘s trained older volunteers offer a friendly, listening and non-judgmental ear to all callers. So don't be alone with your problem. Lifting the phone lessens the loneliness. We are there. LoCall 1850 440 444’
