Wexford with family and friends from home and abroad.   Ceara's cousins, Fr. Gerard O'Leary and Fr. Aidan O'Neill, with Fr. Pat O'Neill were celebrants. Bridesmaids were Miriam O'Leary Moloney, Niamh O'Leary and Mary Kate Sitara.  Bestmen were Kevin O'Leary, Vincent O'Leary and Vincent Cleary. Sarah O'Leary, Kate Connolly & Meave Moloney were Flowergirls, while Cathal Carmody was Pageboy.
The reception was held in the Ferrycarrig Hotel, Wexford. Following their honeymoon, Denis and Ceara will return to live in New York, where they both work.

Fleadh 2017.
There was a musical treat for massgoers attending Mass in St. Mary's Church, Ruan on Sunday last, when a group of 9 children from the area, Aedin Wynne, Meabhdh Casey, Aoibhe & Darragh Lecathelinas, who participated at u12 level and got through from Clare to the Munster Finals held in Cork,  and Roise Lawton, Grainne Wynne, Aine Shannon, Maria Jones & Sean Lecathelinas, u15, who in The Burren Group, won in the Munster final and are playing in the All Ireland Grupai Cheoil competition this coming Sat. in Ennis. The u18 group is also competing, on Sunday.
These are all students of Garry Shannon and are a credit to all involved in bringing their talents in traditional music to the fore.

Summer Camp.
Ruan Hurling & Camogie Clubs, last year, hosted over 100 boys and girls at their own Summer Camp.  It was so successful that they are doing the same again this year, in the G.A.A. Field, from Aug 22-25, and it promises to be a great week of fun, Hurling, Camogie, and a great way to finish off the summer holidays.

Recent Deaths.
The death has occurred, recently of Christine Coughlan, Clonroadmore, Ennis, sister of Mary Griffin, Ruan and Nonie Kelly (nee Cullinan), Tarmon, Gort, formerly of Rineen, Ruan, who was buried in Ruan last week.
