Recent Death.

The death has taken place following a long illness, of Margaret O'Regan (nee O'Halloran) of Dromore, Ruan, in the care of her loving family, at her home.
Margaret worked for many years in Our Lady's Hospital, Ennis, where she was a very popular member of staff, and she retired in 2008.   Shortly afterwards, however, Margaret became ill and over the next four years she bore her illness with tremendous courage and good humour, aided in no small way by the love and care shown to her by her family.   Over the days of her funeral, her love of family, and people in general and her great community spirit, were traits people spoke of.
She was a staunch supporter of the G.A.A. and members of the local hurling and camogie clubs formed a Guard of Honour before concelebrated funeral Mass,
while after the Mass a Guard of Honour made up of her former colleagues paid tribute to her memory.
Margaret is survived by her husband, Michael, daughters Edel and Anne, sons Kevin and Declan, brothers Christy, Martin and Anthony, sister, Mary, sisters in law, brother in law, nieces, nephews and many friends.
