Success at Dublin Horse Show.
"Dysart Dream", a filly foal owned by Tommy O'Gorman, Dysart, came first in its category at Dublin Horse Show last week.
This is a foal from "Dysart Lily" the mare with which Tommy already has had success at this prestigious show  previously.
In the first round of the Junior "A" Camogie Championship, Ruan had a win over Corofin in a game played in Ruan at the weekend.
The final score was Ruan 3-8, Corofin 2-4.  They now go through to the next round this coming  weekend.
Adult Hurling.
An under-strength Ruan Junior team lost out to Sixmilebridge in the 2nd round of the Junior "C" championship at the weekend.
They play Ballyea in the final round this weekend in a "must win" game.
All Ireland Fleadh.
It is hoped that the local talented musicians and singers taking part in Fleadh Cheoil na hEireann which is being held in Derry over this week, will have success, but above all, that they will enjoy their experience and come away with many happy memories of their time in Derry.
