RUAN TIDY TOWNS:  A huge thank you to all who dropped in bags of old clothes, shoes etc. The response was excellent and we raised €700. We are now opening the same collection. The collection point is at the Ruan Community Centre and bags of old worn clothing, footwear, bed linen and old or broken mobile phones may be dropped here between 8:30am and 3:00pm Monday to Friday. Clothing may be worn or torn but must be clean. Also, Toonagh Hall on Mondays from 9am to 12pm. Your continued support is greatly appreciated and will continue to help fund projects in our parish.

RETREAT IN ARDS FRIARY, CREESLOUGH, CO. DONEGAL: LIFE IN THE EUCHARIST (LITE), Sat 1st - Sun 2nd September. Directed by Fr Jim Campbell with the Blessed Congregation outreach team. Life in the Eucharist (LITE) is a weekend retreat for adults to help them deepen their understanding of the Eucharist and recognise the implications of their relationship with Christ for their daily living. The programme helps to focus on God's love in the Eucharist as: Nourishment, Reconciliation, Transformation, Abiding Presence, Liberation. The interactive nature of the retreat is very powerful and enlightening and will help unravel the mystery of the Eucharist. It will also deepen your love and appreciation of the Holy Mass, Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament and help us to be in communion with Christ and each other. A MIND BODY WELLBEING / FOCUSING SKILLS COURSE WILL BE HELD IN LIMERICK over 5 Thursday evenings in September / October (7.30 – 9.30pm) beginning on Sept 6th Participants will learn how to communicate with the wisdom of the body. Benefits include the ability to de-stress, make sound decisions, resolve issues, relate better to others, and be more creative.
