Next Baptism Course:  This will take place on Saturday 26th May in Corofin from 11.00am-12.00 noon.

Tax Return Forms:  Could I please remind you to return Tax Return Forms as soon as possible as they are being sent away shortly.  The parish got back in excess of €10,000 last year.  Only half the forms have been returned this year.

Community Bingo: Crusheen Community Centre starting April 28th at 8.15am.  Raffle, jackpot & great prizes for details contact 085 1293490.

Village Spring Clean:

Ruan village Spring Clean and litter pick will be on Monday and Tuesday evenings 23rd and 24th April at 7.00p.m.  Don’t leave it to everybody else to do it – take the initiative yourself and get out and give a hand!  Young and not so young, all will be welcome.  Litter picks/bags provided.  Meet outside the Church.  Make our village a cleaner and nicer place to live in and visit.

Old Clothes Collection:

Final date for old clothes collection is Friday 27th April.  Old worn clothing, footwear, bed linen, old and broken mobile phones may be dropped into the Community Centre between 8.30am and 3.00pm daily, Monday to Friday.  Toonagh Hall will also be open to receive bags on Monday next from 9.00am until 12.00pm.  Your support is greatly appreciated and will help fund projects in our parish. 

Ruan Community Games Swimming: will be held at Ennis Leisure Centre on Tuesday April 24th at 4.30pm.

Irish Blood Transfusion Service:  will be holding a blood donor clinic in West County Hotel, Ennis on Monday 23rd April, Tuesday 24th, Wednesday 25th, & Thursday 26th from 6.00-9.00pm.

Return to Employment:  West Clare Family Resource Centre will host an information Session on Return to Employment, taking place on Tuesday, 24th April 2012 at 10.30am sharp, in Kilrush Community Centre.   Speaking at this session will be Clare Local Employment Service, Citizens Information Centre, Clare Local Development Co., and Clare VEC.  Free of charge.  All Welcome.  Tel: 065 90 52173.

Songs for a Summer Evening:  Saturday 28th April-8.00pm at Danlann an Chláir.  Featuring Helen Houlihan (Soprano), Owen Gilhooly (Baritone).  Tickets €15 from Cólaiste Muire, County Boutique, Ennis Bookshop, Veritas and Lions Members.  Proceeds to Clarecastle Daycare & Canteen Irl.  Supporting victims of teenage cancer.

Clare Accessible Transport:  providing low floor, flexibly routed public transport in Co. Clare and south Co. Inter Match Results:  Ruan secured their first league win over Crusheen, having lost to Scariff the previous week.  

 County Grounds Draw Tickets:  These tickets are €60 each of which the club retains 50%, valuable car & holiday prizes.  Please ask for club information leaflet, which is also on our website, to view club commitments to you and our parish for this year.    

Minor Club Meeting:  An important minor club meeting takes place this Tuesday 24th at 9.00pm in Ruan Community Centre.
