First Holy Communion Ceremony next weekend: It will take place in Ruan on Saturday 16th April at 10.30 am and in Dysart on Sunday 17th April at 12:00 noon.
Alzheimer's Tea Day takes place all over Ireland on Thurs. May 5th. Every day another 11 people are diagnosed with dementia and there are 48,000 people living with Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia right now. Every €25 raised provides an hour of Home Care, every €50 funds 5 hours at a Day Care Centre, every €200 pays for an overnight stay in Respite Care.

Our Lady of Perpetual Help; The Redemptorists in Ireland are hosting the presence of the Icon of Our Lady of Perpetual Help. They plan to be in Ennis on April 14th/15th and all are welcome
Thought for the Week
Apostolic Work Display: The Apostolic Work Annual Display will take place this Sunday 10th April in Ruan Community Centre from 10:30 am to 5:00 pm. There will be crochet and knitted garments for sale as well as a variety of Plants and Hanging Baskets. We would very much appreciate your support on the day. There will be a cup of tea for everyone.

Diocesan Pastoral Plan evaluation - A mid-term evaluation of the implementation of the Diocesan Pastoral Plan is currently underway, and any parishioner who wishes can participate. An evaluation questionnaire is now available on the diocesan website for completion by 18th April, 2016.

Tea/Coffee Morning continues every Tuesday Morning in Ruan Community Centre at 10:00 am. All are welcome.
Fitness 4 Fun with John Conroy for both men and women, continues in Ruan Community Centre every Wednesday from 1:15pm to 2:15pm. Cost €5. John who is the founder of Fitness4Fun is an experienced and qualified fitness coach for older adult fitness. Exercise can reduce the risk of developing some age-related diseases and disabilities. People with arthritis, heart disease or diabetes benefit from regular physical activity and exercise can also help people with blood pressure, balance problems or difficulty walking. All are welcome to come.
Ruan Camogie Club News: Child Protection Course: Due to new rules and regulations anyone that is involved with a team or club (club officers, trainers, parent helpers, coaches, managers etc.) is required to participate in a "Child Protection Course". To facilitate this, Ruan Camogie Club, have teamed up with Ruan Hurling Club. There is a one night course organised to take place in Ruan Community Hall on Tuesday 12th April from 7.00pm. This course is available to all mentors and parents who help out at training and matches etc. If you are unable to attend on the 12th you will be required to attend at another venue. Please confirm your attendance to this course to any of the club officer.
