SPRING MONASTIC EXPERIENCE WEEKEND FOR WOMEN at St. Mary's Abbey, Glencairn, on 12-14 April, 2013. The event is open to women who are discerning God's call in their lives and who would like to discover more about monastic life. Cistercian nuns seek God and follow Christ in a life of prayer and study, work and solitude, simplicity and silence, in a stable, loving community. We are a vibrant, growing community of 36 sisters. Two new entrants joined us this year and another enters with us next week. We are thankful for all God's blessings to us as we continue to follow our vocation journey in the Cistercian way of life. Visit our website www.glencairnabbey.org which we regularly update to provide news, information and insights about our Cistercian way of life.
