Next Baptism Course: Ruan on Saturday 9th April from 11:00 am to 12 Noon.
All people intending to have children baptised must complete the baptismal course before each child is baptised.
First Holy Communion Ceremony will take place in Ruan on Saturday 16th April at 10.30 am and in Dysart on Sunday 17th April at 12:00 noon

Confirmation Leaders Training: Training for the Parents who are leading “You Shall be my Witness Programme” (Confirmation Preparation) begins this Sunday night April 3rd in Ruan Community Centre at 7:00 pm and continues on the following 3 Sunday nights in Corofin.
National Spring Clean Week: Ruan Tidy Towns group will be out on Tuesday evening 5th April for a village and surrounding roads litter pick and general clean-up. We would welcome all help from the community. Meet in the village at 7 p.m. Be proud of your village!
Ennis Singers Club for April will be held at the Grove Restaurant, Roslevan on Friday, 8th April @ 9.00 pm. Special Guests are local ladies, Mrs. Mary Ann Casey (Drummeer, Ruan) and Mrs. Bridie Morgan (Willbrook, Corofin, formerly the Meaney sisters from Ruan. All Welcome.
Apostolic Work Display: The Apostolic Work Annual Display will take place on Sunday 10th April in Ruan Community Centre from 10:30 am to 5:00 pm. There will be crochet and knitted garments for sale as well as a variety of Plants. We would very much appreciate your support on the day. There will be a cup of tea for everyone.
Mile Buiochas! Claire McDonnell would like to thank all who supported her recent Bingo Nite in Ruan which raised €2,500, and also the Cake Sale which she held over Easter in which she made €1,300. She deeply appreciates the help of all who baked, bought raffle tickets, helped out on the day and supported her ventures in any way. She will use these monies on her trip to Tanzania where she and a number of trainee nurses will work for a number of weeks in a hospital in the Outback.
Fitness 4 Fun with John Conroy for both men and women, continues in Ruan Community Centre every Wednesday from 1:15pm to 2:15pm. Cost €5. John who is the founder of Fitness4Fun is an experienced and qualified fitness coach for older adult fitness. Exercise can reduce the risk of developing some age-related diseases and disabilities. People with arthritis, heart disease or diabetes benefit from regular physical activity and exercise can also help people with blood pressure, balance problems or difficulty walking. All are welcome to come.
Tea/Coffee Morning continues every Tuesday Morning in Ruan Community Centre at 10:00 am. All are welcome.
Ruan Camogie Club News: Following recent officers meeting Mr Aidan Hastings has been elected chairperson; the committee extended many thanks to Anne O Regan outgoing chairperson for her work within the club the past 2 years.
Indoor training has commenced for Ruan Camogie U6 to U10s in Toonagh Hall on Thursdays evenings from 6.30 to 8.00; all players welcome to attend.
Insurance: All players must have their membership paid to be eligible to play and train with the Club. Contact Club Registrar Niamh Ni Mhuiri or any Club officer for details.
