Ennis St. Patrick’s Day Parade 2015: The 2015 Ennis St. Patrick’s Day parade will be held on March 17th and will commence at 11am. The recently appointed parade Co-ordinator, Ger Sweeney, is calling on groups, businesses, societies and clubs in the Ennis area to get involved in this year’s parade. This year the theme of the parade is “Celebrating Our Community”. All participating groups will be entered into a free draw. There are four prizes of €150 to be won and there is a “Best Float/Group” prize of €400. Groups from Ennis and surrounding areas are invited to participate in what promises to be a lively, bright and fun experience. More information is available from the Co-ordinator. Ruan Minor Club held a successful registration night with a great turnout of players registering for the 2015 season. Special guest on the night was local star Killian Ryan who presented medals to the victorious camogie teams, he also wished both clubs well for the year ahead and he emphasised the need to practice the skills of hurling as the young players were the future of our club.
